Where Is The Summer Going?

This post is long past due. We won't even make any excuses why. It's not like there hasn't been any exciting news or happenings in our lives.
Pearl's dad had double by pass and aortic valve replacement on May 20th. He came through surgery and has been recuperating with flying colors. We're pretty amazed how well he has recovered. He had his 82nd birthday on July 1st. It was wonderful to have all of Pearl's sisters home for a few days around the time of his surgery.
He recovered just in time for "Grammy" to spend 24 days at Mike and Amanda's when our precious little Nora Jo arrived on June 16th. Happy one month old to her today! She is truly a beautiful baby girl. Her big brother, Dane, thinks so too....as you can see he loves to give her kisses! He is an awesome big brother! "Grampy" was able to come and spend 10 days "spoiling" the grandbabies too. Speaking of which, Grammy had never been away from Grampy that long since they have been married....and they had their 30th wedding anniversary on June 8th. They didn't spend much of that day together either. Pearl was on call and stayed home to work while Steve was on his way home from Wisconsin with our "new" camper. We haven't had a chance to use it yet, but maybe some weekend we can go camping and celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary!
Now we are back home and trying to work on a few little projects...maybe we will post some pictures of our projects if we ever get them done. For now here are just some random photos taken in the last few weeks. We hope everybody is having a good summer...it seems to be disappearing quickly!
