Weekend of Family Fun

We picked Amanda and Dane up at the Minneapolis airport
late Friday night. After having a nap on the plane,
this was Dane's idea of "nigh-night"!

We made a quick trip over to Wisconsin and Dane got to meet
his Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Stockwell.

Uncle Freddy won Dane's heart by letting him
drive the lawn tractor!

We spent Sunday night and Monday with Steve's niece Jenny,
her husband John and their three kids

Rebecca and Joel think Ben is pretty special!

On Monday, we watched the kids. Joel and Clayton
"helped" Steve clean up the yard.

Dane and Grampy are good buddies.

Monday night, October 22, was Ben's CD release concert at the
Acadia Cafe in downtown Minneapolis.
Everybody had a fun time!

Ben and his dad sang a couple songs.

Ben and Amanda sing "A Pearl", A song he wrote for his Mom.

Dane even found the concert entertaining.

Weston "steals the show".

Beautiful Fall Scenery on a Minnesota Bike Ride.

Yesterday, we decided to take our bikes to Minnesota and
enjoy the nice weather and fall scenery.
We love those MN bike trails!

We saw these barns and thought of our favorite son-in-law...
Don't you miss Minnesota, Mike?

The Andersons come to visit

Dane gets reacquainted with Grammy and Grampy's cat Forrest.

Great Grandpa reads to Dane from the "Eight Little Monkeys" book.

Four little boys and a baby girl made for a lively house on Sunday evening.

Yawn...This vacationing is tough on a little guy.

Grampy, if you'll show me how to start this thing, we'll go for a spin around town!

Monday was a beautiful day and Grammy and Grampy got to
enjoy playing with Dane at the park.

Mike, don't you think Dane should wait a bit longer before he rides a bicycle?

All too soon, it was time to pack the bags and head home. Come back soon, little man.

Late summer in this little town...

What's a California surf diva to do in a small midwest town? Our dog Ralph thought he could help make her feel at home.

Our neighbor's grapevines produced abundantly...The juice, jam and syrup will be a tastey treat!

One quiet evening, this little tree frog came to visit...
